Alonissos Island Sporades Greece

In Alonissos there are small and medium size Hotel units of B' and C' class, that are offering very good services. You can also find two Hotel-Clubs ( Bungalows) and places for camping, at Steni-Vala and Plakes near the Harbour. There are also lots of rooms to let and appartments, in Alonissos, especially in Patitiri, Old Town, Rouroum-Yialo, Votsi, Steni-Vala and Kalamakia.

Almost all tourists stay in Patitiri or Rousoum where you find the best supplies. If you are not approached by room-owners upon your arrival you can get help at The local room-owners association located on the waterfront. You can off course also go look for yourself. If you want a room with a view we can recommend Ikion Hotel in the middle area.

Alonissos island also offers, quality villas, cottages and houses, many of which have private pools. Recent times, we have been your specialist in providing all types of accommodation in Alonissos. We are able to provide the independent traveler with the best and largest selection of rental properties on the island at the best value for money. For a beachfront pool villa with absolute privacy we can recommend Ammos Villa at Magali Ammos bay.

For such an unspoilt island, there is a reasonable choice of accommodation, though I wouldnt recommend arriving in mid August without pre-booking.

So far, weve concentrated on the southern end of the island, yet there is much to see outside this area, so you might consider staying at Steni Vala, which now has plenty of rooms, some shopping and a choice of places to eat. Isolated villas are spreading north through the countryside and some may be rentable. In addition, in 2007, some EU funded accommodation was being built on the spine near Geladias. Youre unlikely to find anywhere to stay north of here though, and the fishing and boat-building hamlet of Kalamakia (), the shepherds hamlets of Dhiaselo (), Meradhi () and Vdhoneri () and even the tantalizing harbour of Gerakas have no tourist accommodation to offer at present.
